"Old Nancy" (tractor) at Auburn University ‘Old Nancy’ is a 1905 steam powered tractor. The tractor was originally used and owned by the Whaley family but has now been at Auburn University since 1974. Renovation of the seven ton, 12 horse power coal (or wood) burning tractor was carried out by Auburn University Agricultural (now http://eng.auburn.edu/bsen/ Biosystems]]) Engineering students between 1974 and 1978.
