13 is an upcoming American musical drama film directed by Tamra Davis based on the musical of the same name.[1]
Plot[edit]
13-year-old Evan Goldman moves from New York City to small-town Indiana, concocts a plan to become popular at his bar mitzvah, which promptly backfires and is forced to do some growing up.

Development[edit]
On August 12, 2014, CBS Films has acquired the rights to adapt 13, with Bert V. Royal writing the script and Laurence Mark, Bob Boyett and David Blackman producing the film.[2] On September 20, 2019, Netflix acquired the movie, and Super-Normal, and Tamra Davis will direct from a Robert Horn script.[3]
