13-year-old Evan Goldman moves from New York City to small-town Indiana, concocts a plan to become popular at his bar mitzvah, which promptly backfires and is forced to do some growing up.

On August 12, 2014, CBS Films has acquired the rights to adapt 13, with Bert V. Royal writing the script and Laurence Mark, Bob Boyett and David Blackman producing the film. On September 20, 2019, Netflix acquired the movie, and Super-Normal, and Tamra Davis will direct from a Robert Horn script.
