1946 Albania v Yugoslavia football match

Albania v Yugoslavia (1946) was the first ever official international football match to be played by the Albanian national team. It was contested against Yugoslavia and took place on 7 October 1946 at the Qemal Stafa Stadium in Tirana, Albania, which was also the stadium's inauguration. The match finished in a 3–2 loss for Albania and was watched by 20,000 spectators,[1] although some sources say 30,000.[2]
