The 2018–19 Big 12 men's basketball season will begin with practices in October 2018, followed by the start of the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season in November. Regular season conference play begin in January 2019. and will conclude on March 9, 2019. the Big 12 Tournament will begin on March 13, with the championship game on March 16, and will be played at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
