On the night of 15 April 2022, Pakistan allegedly launched airstrikes into Afghanistan.[3] This resulted in the deaths of 47 people including 5 children and 1 women.[4] The airstrikes were launched in Afghanistan eastern provinces of Khost and Kunar.[5] Later on 16 April, the Afghan government summoned the Pakistani ambassador for questions.[6]
