A.S.Rajah (Arasarathnam Sriskantharajah அரசரத்தினம் சிறிஸ்கந்தராஜா ) was born in 6th District west vellanai in JaffnaH.e is wellknown as radio announcer trt.tamiloli in france and programme director and also programme organizer.

He was born 23rd july of 1956 in the 6th District of west velanai in jaffna.he is secound child from middle class agriculture family. His father was a famer called Arasarathnam and his mother name is navarathnavathiyamma. He got his basic education in J/Vellanai saraswathi vidyalayam. he also participate all of the event like dramas , speech , songs , advertisment ,that belong to jaffna and he finised his college in J/Velanai maththiya maha vidyalayam.and he wellknown artiste in the college.Velanai Central College He inspaired by the voice of a legend called K. S. Raja who been a announcer of radio ceylon. and he try his best for have a opportunity for be an announcer in srilanka. but because of the war civil of the years 1980's Sri Lankan Civil War . Then he came to france in 1984.
Career in Radio France[edit]
He started his career as a radio announcer in 1997. in trt.tamiloli as a news reader. he got his frist opportunity in 1996. and in a short period he become a famous and very popular tamil announcer in europe. he did his programmes more then 100 stage in diffrent countries. (dramas,songs announce) and he also continued as an annnoucer in trt.tamiloli.
