ANYA movie
ANYA is an upcoming bollywood movie written and directed by Dr.Simmy Joseph under the banner of Initiative Films..
Atul kulkarni, Raima Sen, Prathamesh Parab, Bhushan Pradhan, Tejashri Pradhan and Krutika Deo are in leads. The first schedule has been completed in June in Delhi. The second schedule is set to shoot in October. ANYA will be a 2019 release.

Plot
A documentary team - writer ( Atul Kulkarni) director ( Raima Sen) and producer (Bhushan Pradhan) - hires a boy from the street (Prathamesh Parab) to work for them with a hidden camera. Later on, the team forces the boy to cover human trafficking even though he was reluctant to go. The film addresses contemporary political issues, NGO malpractices, child labour, human trafficking etc. Initially the team was not serious towards the issues they shoot, but finally they turn socially responsive and responsible towards the issues they cover.
Pre-production
The film was announced in 2017 under the banner of Initiative films. Later on, Capitalwood pictures joined the venture to complete this movie in the beginning of 2018.. Initiative films roped in Sajan Kalathil as cinematographer . Oscar winner Resul Pookutty is associated with the film as sound designer.. Bollywood’s Vipin Patwa and Rishi S compose music for the movie. Dr.Sagar, Sajiv Sarathi and Rekha Pallathu write lyrics.
Filming
The first schedule of ANYA started in May 2018. Chatarpur Bahati kurd village, Vikas puri Kali basti, Kishangarh village Vasant kunj, old Delhi Railway Station premises were main locations in the first schedule..The second schedule will start in october, 2018 in Delhi premises.
Release
The film will be released in April 2019.
