Abdul Rahman Khan Qadri ‎ was born on 6 June 1962 is an Islamic scholar, researcher, orator, writer, Shayar-E-Islam and cleric of Ahle-Sunnat Wa Jamaa’at[1] Sunni. He started the Imamat and Khitabat of Jumuah in the Mumtaz Masjid also known as Abu Bakr Siddique Masjid Bareilly which still continues. Allama has been leading the Dars-Ul-Quran in detail on every Friday after Isha namaz. Sometimes it takes him three to four months to conclude a certain topic of Quran owing to his widespread research-oriented knowledge. On every Holy night, Muharram, Ramadan including Jumuatul Wadaa and Laielatul Qadr his speeches are heard by many believers.

Early Life & Education[edit]

Abdul Rahman Khan Qadri was born in Bareilly, India. He has three brothers including him and two sisters in the family. His father, elder brother and younger sister were died . He has a knowledge in the fields of religion, spirituality and scholastic matters. This little bit recognition of letters words and the skills of experimenting with them that have come to him, it is mostly because of an environment which was due to his kind parents, teachers and holy people. Abdul Rahman’s early childhood was spent in Bareiily, India. He studied and received the degree of Hifz, Qirat and Fazil-e-Dars-e-Nizami from Darul Uloom Mazhar-e-Islam[2] (Beebee ji sahiba masjid) Bareilly shareef. He memorized the Quran at the age of eleven years, taught by late Hafiz Mohd Ismail Sahib ,late Hafiz Abid Sahib and late Hafiz Mohd Nisar Sahib.


He did his Munshi, Alim, Kamil Farsi, Fazil-e-Deeniyat and Fazil-e-Adab from Arbi Farsi Board of Uttar Pradesh also Adeeb, Adeeb-e-mahir Adeeb-e-kamil and Muallim Urdu from Jamia Urdu Aligarh[3]. He led the assemblies with Qiraat and khitaab.

During his school and college days he participated in various debates, Qiraat and Islamic shayari competitions and also received prizes for it, During that period he developed love for poetry and literature. Its main purpose was to inculcate religious principles, support poor students, and organize competitions of Qiraat, Naat and Speeches.

He received guidance in Urdu and Persian poetry and literature by Ustad-ul-Adab Hazrat Allama Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Sahab Bihar, Ustadul Ulama Hazrat Allama Mufti Hakeem, Maulana Riyaz Ahmad Siwaan Nihar, Khalifa-e-Mufti Azam-e-Hind Hazrat Allama Mufti Mohammad Ubaidur Rahman sahab Sheikhul Hadees Darul Uloom Mazhare Islam, Khalifa-e-mufti Azam-e-Hind Hazrat Allama Mufti Mohammad Azam Sahab former Sheikhul Hadees, late Hazrat Allama Maulana Haqqani sahab Taanda Faizabad.

Khilafat[edit]

Allama Abdul Rahman Khan Qadri received the khilafat from the holy hand of Hazrat Syed Shah Ziyauddin Alaihir Rehman Tirmizi, Kaalpi Sareef Hazrat Syed Shah Yaahya Hasan Barkati Alaihir Rehman, Marehra Shareef, Hazrat Raihan-e-Millat Allama Mufti Raihan Raza Khan Alaihir Rehman, Bareilly Shareef, Hazrat Syed Shah Hussain Miya Sahab, Bilgram Shareef, Khalifa-e-Huzoor Mufti Azam-e-Hind Allama Mufti Anwar-ul-haq Sahab Khilafat offered by Khalifa-e-Huzoor Mufti Azam-e-Hind Allama mufti Anwar-ul-haq sahab[4] is highly pious as it was accepted in front of baargah-e-rasool-e-paak Gumbad-e-khazra.

Teachings[edit]

He lectures in large congregations of thousands of people. The medium of his teaching is through speeches, television ,books etc .

He taught in many of the madarsas namely Madarsa Arabia Rauzat-us-Salam[5] Rehpura Chaudhary Bareilly, Madarsa Arabia Taalimul Islam[5] Fareedapur Chaudhary Bareilly, Jamia Nooriya Baakarganj Bareilly and presently he is teaching since 1995 as the designation of professor as well as an editor of Mahanaama Aala Hazrat in renowned Madrasa Manzar-e-Islam Khankah-e-Aala Hazrat founded by Aala hazrat Imam Ahmad Raza Khan Fazil-e-Bareilly R.A, in this Madrasa he is dealing with course Dars-e-Nizami and specially subjects related to the course are Hadith, Tafseer-ul-Quran, Usool-e-Fiqah, Usool-e-Hadith and other subjects of distinguish courses.

His live and recorded shows are broadcast regularly from many TV channels in most of the countries. In many continents like the Asia, Africa, Europe and in Gulf countries his television shows are telecasted. He is interviewed by many prominent TV personalities on different magazines, newspapers.

Personal Life[edit]

When asked why he has no interest in politics, he replied, “I can’t lie, I don’t like hypocrisy and breaking promises. I don’t want to gather bad prayers (duaa) of the people. There are only two topics of my life: purity and sincerity. Everything which is pure it is good. People should not sit idle they should work and stay busy. I demand perfection and quality in everything. Whoever’s work it may be it should be good.

Personal Library[edit]

He fond of reading books and collecting them from childhood. Up till now his personal library has a collection of over 5000 books. These books are in Arabic, Persian, and Urdu languages. They are of a wide variety of topics including Islam and all its teachings, Urdu literature, fictions, history.etc.

Orator of the Nation[edit]

He has been called “Sher-e-Qadriyat shahanshah-e-khitabat” (Orator of the Nation) by majority of his admirers and followers.

Foreign Endeavor's[edit]

In 1987 he performed his Hajj. In 1990 he travelled to pakistan for the first time where he visited many cities, mosques and gave lectures.

In 2004 he visited Mauritius for the first time to attend the holy ceremony (qul) of Hazrat Allama Maulana Ibrahim Khushtar Rahmatullah -e- alaihe.[6] There he gave speech Here the local radio and television covered his visit Since then he has often been invited by Muslim groups in different countries to give lectures, for the next time in 2005 again he visited Mauritius. From 2005 he used to visit Mauritius every year to delivers the lectures.

In 2007 Abdul Rahman was invited to South Africa. During this period, he visited Holland, France, Denmark, Norway, Belgium, Mauritius, Pakistan, Johannesburg , Durban, Amsterdem ,Netherlands etc.

The series of these gatherings spread, the practice of reciting Durood Shareef in Masajid before and after Azan was revived, the practice of holding Eid Milad-un-Nabi in many parts of these countries was inaugurated for the first time.
