Abigail Adams Institute

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The Abigail Adams Institute is an independent intellectual community focused on providing conservative programming around various topics in the humanities to students and young professionals in the Boston area. Named for Massachusetts native and Abigail Adams, the institute was founded in 2014 by William English[1] and is currently under the direction of Danilo Petranovich,[2] often hosting events in tandem with the Intercollegiate Studies Institute and featuring conservatives like Arthur Brooks and Peter Thiel.[3][4][5]

The institute and its associated scholars are interdisciplinary, supporting and referenced in projects related to political economy and commerce,[6][7][8] classics,[9] ethics,[10] and American history.[11][12]

Political Affiliations[edit]

Although the Institute does not formally affiliate as a partisan group, its programming draws attention for its role in giving a platform to conservatism at Harvard, both by academics like Robert George and by conservative news outlets like National Review.[13] Script error: No such module "AfC submission catcheck".
