Earlier life[edit]
Abigail Markovshe is artist and acoustic engineer. Markov graduated high school a year early, and attended the University of Texas at Austin for a year and a half, studying biochemistry, nutrition, sociology, and kinesiology. Markov took additional classes in psychology, philosophy, digital art, and video game design while raising three children, including one with severe behavioral challenges.

Abigail Markov’s she is artiest, she work in encaustic, epoxy resin, acrylic, ink, oil, silver, copper, 3D modeling, and photography. Her works are a hybrid of pigmented inks and handmade acrylic glazes focused on what it means and feels like, for the viewer, to hold space for someone struggling, and what it means, as an artist, to hold space in the work and process for the viewer’s experience of the finished art.
Abigail frequently uses saturated color, contrasting techniques, movement, transparency, visual depth, and their interaction with light in unconventional ways to bring the viewer into the piece and encourage introspection.
Abigail can be found frequently utilizing social media to share their work & process, and is a long-time member of ArtCan, a London-based non-profit arts organization.”
