Abra Remphrey graduated from the University of South Australia in 1991 and founded the graphic design studio Detour Design, based in Adelaide, with Cathy Bell in 1992.[1]
Biography[edit]
Remphrey was inspired by her well-connected father and who was an architect who introduced her to architectural magazines, like Domas, when she was a child.[1]
In 2017, Remphrey was a juror in the AGDA Awards (Australian Graphic Design Association) and has participated annually in the AGDA Mentor program. She has shared her skills and knowledge vis master classes at UniSA and is involved in the UniSA Advisory Group for the Communication Design Program, School of Art, Architecture and Design.[2]
