Achilleas Ntavelis (Greek: Αχιλλέας Νταβέλης; born 28 June 1969 in Larissa) is a Greek Businessman.
Life and career[edit]
Achilleas Davelis is the former president of the Association of Thessalian Businesses and Industrialists (STHEB), President & CEO of the ANIMUS Rehabilitation and Recovery Center, he is co-owner of the mask production company, Larisa Face Cover SA and president of the Journalism Organization 21admedia (contains TV channel, newspaper, site, radio). He was born in Larissa on June 28, 1969 and since January 1998 he has been practicing Orthodontics as a freelancer. In March 2001 he was elected President of the Larissa Dental Association and in April 2003 he is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Dental Federation, where he took the position of Special Secretary. He is the founder and served as Chairman of the Board from 2010 to 2013, of EKAAE (Association of Rehabilitation and Recovery Centers of Greece), which includes as members the 19 private Rehabilitation Centers in Greece. He is a member of the conference organization committee of the Hellenic Dental Federation, as well as a member of the scientific committee for matters of orthodontic interest. In May 2004, he was elected a member of the Board of Directors of the Professional Association of Orthodontics of Greece, while in 2005 he assumed the responsibility of organizing the 25th Panhellenic Dental Conference, which was held in the city of Larissa, representing the relevant dental association. At the same time, since April 2004, he is a PhD candidate at the Athens University of Applied Sciences. while previously at the end of 2003 he got the training certificate in the Invisalign dental treatment system in Pavia, Italy. Since 1997, he has systematically taken part in all the seminars and conferences held in our country by the two major companies. Specifically, he was a speaker at (6) six out of (7) seven Panhellenic conferences organized by the Orthodontic Society of Greece. He also takes part in the corresponding pan-Hellenic conferences of the Hellenic Dental Federation as well as in all "Oral Health Education" seminars. Finally, due to his trade union status as the president of the Larissa Dental Association, he monitors and supervises all the training days from 2001 onwards. In 2006, he started his business activity in collaboration with his brother, who is his fellow traveler, with the Animus Recovery and Rehabilitation center, which is considered one of the largest and most complete centers in Greece and the Balkans. The ANIMUS Rehabilitation and Recovery Center officially began its operation in May 2008. It is built on an area of approximately 170 acres, at the 8th km of Larissa-Trikala (next to Terpsithea), with the total area of its facilities reaching 13,500 sq.m. He is a member of the Professional Association of Orthodontics of Greece, and a member of the W.F.O. World Orthodontic Federation. His political choices are known – as he is close to the Mitsotakis family, best man of Dora Bakoyannis (she baptized his daughter). He knows English (Proficiency degree holder) as well as the Romanian language. From July 6, 2022 he is the President & Major Shareholder of AE Larissa FC, his hometown Football Club that currently competes in the Greek Super League 2, the second tier of National Football League system.
