Adam Denlinger

Adam Denlinger (born April 5th, 1984) is a singer from California, USA. He has been the clean vocals singer of the Dutch symphonic death metal band MaYan MaYaN since 2017, and has also participated as a singer in bands like Avant Guardian, Colossal Microcosm and is currently working on a new project called Design your Destiny [1]

Musical training

Denlinger started playing the piano when he was a child and began playing the guitar when he was fourteen.[2]. He studied Mathematics and Music at the University of Redlands, where he was trained in classical singing by Marco Schindelmann for two years[3]. Adam has also been coached by different metal vocalists. Eight years after his classical training, he took vocal coaching from Mats Leven (singer of Candlemass), Carlos Zema (singer of Immortal Guardian), and Ralf Scheepers (singer of Primal Fear).

Music Career

Adam has worked with different bands. He wrote music and sang for different L.A. metal bands, including Colossal Microcosms. He recorded an album, Metamorphosis, and performed several live shows with L.A.based power/progressive metal band Avant Guardian, but left the band in 2017 due to obligations with MaYaN.

In 2017, Denlinger made his live debut with the Dutch symphonic death metal band MaYaN at Graspop Metal Meeting covering for vocalist Henning Basse[4]. Ever since then, Denlinger has been touring with MaYaN in Europe, taking care of clean vocals and participating in the writing of MaYaN's album Dhyana. As from 2018 Adam Delinger became and official member of MaYaN.
