Adam Probolsky (IPA: /æ'dəm.prə'bɔəlski) is an American public opinion and market researcher who is president of Probolsky Research[1]. Probolsky and his research have appeared in The New York Times[2], The Los Angeles Times[3][4], POLITICO[5], The Chicago Tribune[6], Bloomberg[7], ABC News Sacramento[8], podcasts[9][10], and other publications.

According to the Probolsky Research website, in his capacity with the firm, he has conducted public opinion “research for business, election, government, non-profit, and association clients.”[11] His research and commentary have included such policy topics as the economy,[12] energy, water policy,[13] public utilities,[14] education,[15] air quality[16] and climate change, taxation, and ballot measures.[17] Probolsky’s polling and commentary on the 2022 Los Angeles Mayoral race[7][18] and 2021 California gubernatorial recall election were cited in newspapers nationwide.[19][20][21][22]

Probolsky spent four years as a columnist for the Orange County Register,[23] in addition to serving in several community and local leadership roles.[24] He earned a master's degree in data analytics and visualization from the Maryland Institute College of Art.[25] Probolsky attributes his experience working in his family's bagel bakery as a kid and analyzing the likely customer base for the day for his interest in opinion and market research.[26]
