Adekunle Rilwan Fasasi (born 23 June 1996) is a Nigerian athlete who competes in sprint. He won bronze in 400 meter and 4 x 400 meter at the 2015 African Junior Athletics Championships, her biggest international result.

Athletics career[edit]

2014

Fasasi took part in the AFN Golden League events in 2014, and finished in 3rd in the 400m in Abuja in April, and in 2nd at the events in Ilorin and Akure.[2][3][4]

In June, he took part in the Nigerian athletics championships where she finished in 3rd in her semifinal with a time of 46,84, but did not advance to the final. [5][6] He took part in the 400 meter at the 2014 World Junior Championships in Athletics, but was disqualified for running outside his lane.[7] Nigeria also took part in the 4 x 400 meter, but did not get through the heats after finishing 3rd.

2015

At the 2015 African Junior Athletics Championships in March, Fasasi finished in 3rd in the 400 meter, with a time of 46,84, behind Karabo Sibanda and Alexander Sampao[8][9]. He also took part in Nigeria's relay team which finished third in the 4 x 400 meter. He was also part of Nigeria's relay team in the 4 x 400 meter at the IAAF World Relays 2015, but did not take part in the championships. [10]
