Adnan Al Awamleh
Early Life[edit]
Adnan Al-Awamleh (born in November 15, 1948) in Amman, Jordan. He pursued his higher education at Beirut Arab University and BBC Institute. He rejoined Jordan TV as a director, working on several documentaries.
Career[edit]
Adnan established Arab Telemedia Group in 1983, which became the leading production company in the Arab world, producing award-winning Arabic TV content.
In 2008, Awamleh was awarded the first ever International Emmy Award for best telenovela for the dramatic series Al-Igtiyah (The Invasion).
He stepped down from running the company in 2002 and handed the leadership to his son Talal Al Awamleh, who carried on his father’s vision and ambition.
Personal Life[edit]
Adnan Al Awamleh was married to Suha Touqan and a father of four; Talal, Ruba, Muna and Hala.

In 2008, Al-Awamleh was awarded the first ever International Emmy Award for Best Telenovela for the dramatic series Al-Ijtiyah (The Invasion), which made him the first Arab producer to ever win an Emmy
