Ado-awaye Lake

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Situated in Ado-awaye, Oyo state, Nigeria. The Iyake Lake is the only recognised suspended/hanging lake in Africa, second to The Hanging Lake of Colorado, United States of America.

The Lake is believed to be possessed by unknown mystical power due to the fact that no explorer has been able to know the depth of the water body, by so doing, getting it name as a bottomless lake while the villagers of Ado-awaye town in Oyo state believes that the lake is an entrance to another world that looks like earth and whoever dives into the lake will not be able to make back to earth; dead or alive.

However, it is yet to be unknown whether a well-equipped team of researchers or scientists have taken time to explore the mountain and its mysteries.
