Adrian Mark Richards (born 29th January 1964) is a consultant plastic and cosmetic surgeon, specialising in breast surgeries, abdominoplasty and non-surgical treatments.

Mr Richards holds the position of Medical Director at the Private Clinic of Harley Street and Clinical Director of Cosmetic Courses. Privately consulting in London, Buckinghamshire and Northampton.

Mr Richards has carried out thousands of breast augmentations, reductions, mastopexies, implant removals and replacements. Along with many surgical procedures including PIP removals, tuberous breast corrections and inverted nipples.

He documents hundreds of his operations on social media channels such as YouTube, Instagram and Twitter assisting patients research and knowledge. In addition, he is an author of over 30 publications including “Key Notes on Plastic Surgery”.

Education and career[edit]

Mr Richards graduated in 1988 with MBBS Medicine from St Thomas’ Hospital Medical School in London. He then commenced training at the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead, a specialist reconstructive surgical infirmary.

He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1992, deciding to specialise in plastic surgery and trained in this speciality in several of the major units in the United Kingdom, including the Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Buckinghamshire and divisions in Oxford, London, the US and Australia.

He achieved his Masters of Science Degree (M.Sc) in 1995 and in 1999 was awarded the fellowship of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons (FRCS).

He founded Cosmetic Courses in 2002, a company accredited by the Royal College of Physicians, which provides training to medical practitioners entering the aesthetic market and he is now the Clinical Director.

In 2006 he founded Aurora Clinics, which combines surgical procedures and skin clinics for the general public and is now known as The Private Clinic. Mr Richards is the Medical Director for The Private Clinic located in Birmingham, Bristol, Buckinghamshire, Glasgow, London Harley Street, Leeds, Manchester and Northampton.

Mr Richards consults privately from locations, including the Gatehouse in Northampton, the Stokenchurch Medical Centre in Buckinghamshire and Harley Street in London.

Mr Richards has appeared on Television Programs such as Channel 4’s ”How not to get old[1]” and “Bodyshockers[2]”.

In 2014 he was named as one of the world’s ‘Top 100 Most Influential Cosmetic Doctors[3]’ by International Cosmetic Surgery website RealSelf and in 2015 was awarded the RealSelf 500 award[4], which recognizes the Top Social Influencers in Cosmetic Surgery. In 2018 it was announced[5] that Mr Richards had been inducted into the RealSelf Hall of Fame which lists the top 1,000 highest-rated and most engaged aesthetic doctors.
