Aenthropy is a Hungarian instrumental post-metal band founded by drummer Győző Mesterházy, bassist Ádám Bálint and guitarist Dezső Mihalik in 2015. The main idea was to create honest and unique heavy music using an electric cello instead of a second guitar.
The band's original formation with a lead vocalist ended at the end of 2017 but with the earlier arrival of cellist Márk Rostetter the line-up has become complete. Early works with vocals are the single 'Altató' and the EP 'Tulpa'.
From January 2018 the band started to work on a more instrumental way and as a result released a few demo recordings from their first studio album 'Nebulae' planned to be released in early 2019.
