Agast Annand (born September 12, 1970) is an Indian actor, film-maker, writer, and philanthropist.

Early Life and Education

Annand was born into the Indian Army family of Late Lal Bachan Kumar and Late Jagrani Devi.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Fergusson College and a master's in Economics from Pune University. He also holds a post-graduate degree in Management from Vamnicom, Pune.

Career

Annand worked in the development and media sector before joining Bollywood in 2015, to pursue his acting career. He is also a voice-over artist, writer, and director.

Awards and Recognition

Annand is associated with some of the most reputed educational institutions for media studies. He has received several awards including a national level award for voice-over and ‘Natya Kala Shiromani’ awarded to him by the Vikramshila Hindi University in 2018.

Personal Life

Annand is married to Priyanka Baruah Anand since 1999 and has two children; son Priyansshu Anand (Raj) and daughter Pragya Anand (Khushi).
