Biography[edit]

Ahmed Qureshi was born in Karachi, Pakistan. After a year later, he moved to the United States of America at the age of 1. He currently lives in Houston, Texas. , He still has an innovative mind for technology. Ahmed Qureshi is a Pakistani, with United States citizenship. He mainly speaks Urdu and English but does also speak Arabic.[4]

Software Developer[edit]

Ahmed Qureshi started coding HTML, CSS, and Java-script, front-end coding languages for websites, at the age of 8. Ahmed began coding software and projects, expanding his enthusiasm for coding and technology.

Projects[edit]

Ahmed created a paint application, and temporary file remover in python, which made many people install the software. At the age of 9, over 300 people have downloaded the software[5], which motivated Ahmed to continue coding, which the software code is still getting updated. When Ahmed became 10, he released an Encryption Algorithm in C++, which let users carefully secure their passwords, and decrypt the code whenever they forgot their password[6]. The Encryption Algorithm reached over 500 installs in less than 60 days.

Entrepreneurship[edit]

On September 16th, 2020, Ahmed Qureshi has started a technology business called Equant. One of his projects was "The World's First Smart Browser", a web browser combined with several technologies and artificial intelligence. Equant's projects are still in development[7]. He created job posts on Linked-in to recruit volunteers to contribute to Equant and their projects[8]. Ahmed Qureshi serves the role of the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Equant. He wanted to have a company that would allow users all around the globe to use advanced technology. Ahmed currently has 251-500 employees (volunteers), according to Crunch-base[9]. As the business is turning to For-profit, Ahmed won't be having volunteers soon, due to FLSA[10]. However, Ahmed and Equant will be accepting Internships[11]. Ahmed Qureshi priors in Equant, and will be serving Equant for the long term. As Equant is turning to For-Profit, most of the revenue will come from the Company and Products. In 2021, Ahmed Qureshi has opened roles for UI/UX Designer, as well as QA Software Tester[12].

Equant has announced that one of their projects they've been working on is The World's First Smart Browser, a web browser combining different technologies and artificial intelligence[19]. Equant believes that putting smart technologies and artificial intelligence to a web browser, will allow majority of the world to afford technologies, just by installing the web browser for free[20]
