Ajit Kukreja (born 9 September 1986) is an Indian politician and the son of Anand Kukreja, Secretary Pradesh of Congress Committee (Chhattisgarh) and President- General Sindhi Panchayat, Raipur (Chhattisgarh).
Early life and Education
Ajit Kukreja was born in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. He studied in Holy Cross High School. He completed his secondary education in Pune and went on to graduate in the field of Arts and Commerce. He completed his bachelors degree in Economics from IGNOU college and then pursued masters degree in Public Admin from Symbiosis college.
Ajit contested in an election of municipal corporation in 2014. He got majority votes and got elected as the chairman of finance, accounts and department of audit. He has participated in a lot of campaigns favoring women empowerment and eradicating poverty. He has been instrumental in reducing the electricity consumption in Raipur district. Ajit played a vital role in introducing the "smart card" initiative.
Family and Personal Life
Ajit is the son of the former politician Anand Kukreja and Rekha Kukreja. He has two sisters, Roma Ahuja and Pooja Kukreja. He got married in 2016 to Shreya Arora.
