Akhtar Hussain[1] (born 1 August 1997) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Dynamo FC in Guwahati Assam

Akhtar Hussain [1] is from Jorhat Assam but he was born and bought up in Dimapur Nagaland state in North east India. He started playing football at his very young age. At the age of 15 he played in Notun Basti Football Club in the year 2012-13 where he played many leagues and tournaments. He was also the first young goal scorer at Gloria Patri Open Football Tournament by opening his first goal of the tournament in Dimapur District. By looking at his performance and dedication towards football he was called to play in one of the premier club in Nagalnd where he represented and played for Dynamic Football Club of Dimapur District. He played in Dynamic Football club in the year 2013-14. Then he was called from Guwahati Youth Football Club in the year 2014 where he played in Guwahati for 3 years. In the year 2016 he was called to play in Madhya Pradesh to represent Bhopal league from Madan Maharaj Football Club where he made 2 appearances in Bhopal League. After Bhopal league he was immediately called for trials from Delhi United S.C. and F.C. Green Valley. He was at the Campaign at Delhi United S.C. but because of his examinations he had to fly back to Assam. After His examinations he played the 66th Inter-district All Assam Football Tournament where he represented from Shivasagar District in the year 2017 and made 2 appearances and scored 1 goal in that tournament. By his determination and hard work he was scouted by one of the super division club Yarkhok from Ukhrul Manipur state. He was send on loan to Yarkhok United Football Club for participating in All India Football Tournament 23rd Bodoland Gallants Gold Cup which was held in Udalguri Assam 2018 where he made 2 appearances and gave his best performance and ended in 2nd position against laban FC shillong Meghalaya in 23rd Bodoland Gallants Gold Cup [2].
