Al-dour site is located Southeast of Al-Taraf town in Al-Hasa, Eastern Saudi Arabia

Description

The site has mounds with buried remains of collapsed buildings bases. Among the remains found, is a building with a yard on its center, the building is thought to be a Souq marketplace. In front of this marketplace building, there are remains of a mosque. The site was identified to be a town known as Al-Dour and dates to the time between the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries.[1]
