Hi JC7V, thanks for the feedback. I'm reading some other articles of Italian musicians. What sources are necessary? For example these articles: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maria_Devigili or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yakamoto_Kotzuga. They don't have many sources.Lindelorraine (talk) 01:57, 30 December 2018 (UTC)

Alberto Nemo (Rovigo, 15 February 1988) is an Italian singer and musician.

Career[edit]

Born in Rovigo, his artistic career started between 2008 and 2009, when he started singing during funerals. From 2011 to 2015 he travelled across Europe, playing in churches and performing music theraphy activities.[1][2][3]

On 11 September 2017, his first album came out: 6x0 Live (vol.I). He recorded that live during a concert in the hall of Dimora, an artistic collective in Rovigo. On that occasion, Guido Frezzato played the viola with him. The final master of the record has not been edited at all.[4][5]

On 23 March 2018, his second album came out. It’s titled 6x0 and it’s realized with the reverse tape technique.[6][7]

In the same year, he also became one of the winners of Musicultura, one of the most important music festival in Italy, with the song named “Ancora” (recorded with Sephine Llo). Always on that occasion, he shared the stage with Antonella Ruggiero, Procol Harum and Sergio Cammariere. The performance was broadcast on Radio Rai 1 and on Rai 3 for the television part.[8][9][10][11]

On 2 November 2018 he published his third album “Futuro Semplice” which included the single “Ancora”.[12][13][14][15][16][17][18]

On 9 November came out the fourth album “Dante vs Nemo”. The concept album was inspired by Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri and published in audiobook format. The actor Marino Bellini interpreted Dante.[19][20][21][22]

In 2018 he performed a musical tour in the cities of Prague, Bratislava, Budapest, Warsaw and Tallinn. The concerts, on a reserved invitation, were made as silent concert (silent disco), meaning participants could listen individually through the use of headphones.[23][24][25]

On all of his songs he uses the scientific pitch. [26]

Musical style[edit]

The musical style is characterized by slow tempos, almost without any rhythmical element and a voice that shifts from quiet pianos and loud vibratos, almost reaching lyrical tones on the highest pitch. Vocally and artistically, he has been compared to Lisa Gerrard (Dead Can Dance), This Mortal Coil, Anohni, but also Jocelyn Pook and to the more intimate Jeff Buckley. He prefers live recording and improvisation, with a jazz/avant-grade attitude.[27][28][29][30][31]

Maestro Vince Tempera defined Alberto Nemo’s music as esoteric.[32]
