Alexander Viktorovitch Kondrashov (Russian: Александр Викторович Кондрашов, born November 21, 1983 in Prague) — Russian traveler and blogger. He leads a YouTube channel «Alexander Kondrashov», which has 1,3 million subscribers (at November 2018).

Biography[edit | edit source]

Aleksander was born November 21, 1983 in Prague. His father is a former military man; his mother was a teacher. At the age of 5 his family moved to a military town near Mozhaysk. He studied at Moscow Anglo-American school, then graduated the Department of automation and electronics at National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute).

Married. Wife — Anastasia.[1].

Aleksander used to work at «Концерн Трансмаш» company (Russian: «Concern Transmash») since 2004. Then in 2007 he started his own business, selling and renting railway wagons.

At March 17, 2011 Kondrashov launched his YouTube channel «Justdoit150gmail», which by November 2018 has 1,3 million subscribers and more than 320 million views. His channel is one of the top Russian travel-channels[2][3][4]. The most popular video on the channel is «What will happen if you throw crabs to piranhas» (Russian: «Что будет если к пираньям кинуть крабов»), which has over 21 million views by November 2018[5][6].

In 2016 he participated in Russian President's Vladimir Putin live video conference in Antarctica.

In 2016 was invited by Estonian Tourism Department to Tallinn, where he filmed a video review[7].

In Autumn 2016 participated in a reality-show Wargaming «Naval bloggers» (Russian: «Блогеры по-флотски»), in which the video bloggers went on a six-day voyage on a sailing ship Kruzenshtern. The TV version of the show was broadcast on Belorussian channel Obshchenatsional'noe Televidenie in January 2017[8][9][10].

In 2017 he created his own advertising agency «BloggersMedia», specialized at YouTube and Instagram producing. In August 2017 Aleksander participated in «Mamont Cup 2017» expedition and visited Shantar Islands, there he made a video review which included the rescue operation of the bowhead whale, which stuck in the channel of the lake Bolshoye on the island of Bolshoy Shantar in the sea of Okhotsk[11].

In 2018 Kondrashov was commissioned by Russian Federal Tourism Agency to make video-guides of Russian cities in which the 2018 FIFA World Cup football matches were performed[12][13].
