Alfonso Pinzon (born Nov 27, 1972) is a Spanish metal band drummer. He is known for his work in the bands Dia de lost Meurtos and Agony.[1]

Early life and education[edit | edit source]

Pinzon was born in Barcelona, Spain. He grew up in Germany.[2]

Career[edit | edit source]

Pinzon cofounded the Los Angeles extreme metal band Dia De Los Muertos[3] and the Colombian thrash band Agony, and performed as a drummer in both bands.[4]

Pinzon produced most of his own work, and he has produced two albums for the American black metal band Inquisition: Ominous Doctrines of the Perpetual Mystical Macrocosm (2011) & Obscure Verses for the Multiverse (2013)

In 2014, Pinzon was living in the United States. That year he co-founded the Festival del Diablo in Bogata, Columbia, with Jan Pablo Chaparro.[5][6][7] He continued to co-organize the festival as recently as 2017.[8][9]
