Ali Abulgasem Youssef Shebani is a patent and registered designer of Swiss prayer clocks and founder of IPTEQ Switzerland With a background of Swiss clock manufacturing.[1][2][3]

Early History[edit]

Dr. Ali Abulgasem Shibani was born to humble origins on November 22, 1944, in the Shakshuk in Libya, approximately 175 kms. south-west of the national capital Tripoli. In spite of all the hardships early on in life, he strives relentlessly with tremendous dedication to educate himself to a PhD. degree from North Carolina State University, Raleigh, U.S.A.

Chosen as Chairman and entrusted with the establishment of National Consulting Bureau (N.C.B.), a Public Sector Autonomous Company designed to offer Consultancy Services in the Technical and Scientific fields both in and outside the country, February 1978. The N.C.B. was built from its inception and developed as one of the largest and reputed Consultancy firms in the region, employing around 250 personnel and successfully completed over 400 major consultancy projects.

Founder and Chairman of National Union Holding, Libya. Dr. Shebani has got excellent managerial skills. Under his Chairmanship, the company saw growth from USD 5 million at startup to USD 345 million in 2010 within span two years.

  • Founder of the Belal Prayer Time Clocks

The Belal Prayer Time Clocks are designed to aid Muslims adhere faithfully to the words of the almighty Allah concerning enjoined prayers and fasting, by providing, through proprietary audio and visual means, accurate information of occurrence of the relevant times.
