Aliasghar Hosseini (Persian: علی اصغر حسینی was born in Tehran), is Iranian born visual Artist based in Los Angeles California. He began his professional visual design career in 2000. He was Professor of graphic design and visual culture at the Azad University Central Tehran Branch, University of Tehran ,and University of Applied Science and Technology. He is member of Iranian Graphic Design Society (IGDS) since 2008. His Special focus and proficiency in visual design and Research about Visual Arts. As well as teaching experience at Art Universities and Visual Arts Schools plus compilation and translation of more than 50 articles and 3 books and he received awards for his articles and book. He translated first motion graphics design book in Iran (Motion Graphic Design: Applied History and Aesthetics) that published by aban book in 2018. He was member of editorial board of Garteh website, Tandis magazine, Iran newspaper, and Shargh newspaper. In consideration of Aliasghar Hosseini’s artworks, a large number of them participate in International and domestic exhibitions, museums, and biennales. They have also been published in several reputable international and domestic newspapers, magazines, websites.

He was born in Tehran 1981 and he began his Art experience by enroll in Behzad Shishegaran's graphic design classes in 1997. He graduated in Bachelor and MFA of visual communication design and in 2000 he has started as professional graphic designer in advertising agencies. In 2007 he has started teaching in Art universities and he became member of editorial board of magazines and websites. In 2015 he moved to Los Angeles California and continue his career as visual artist.
