Alina Grinpauka

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Alina Grinpauka (Alīna Grīnpauka) is a fashion illustrator. Graduated in Industrial Design at the Art Academy of Latvia in Riga, she has coupled her passion for drawing with a strong interest in experimenting with materials, shapes and structures, and, above all, a constant inspiration by high fashion. Her work is a manifesto of search for technique in marrying paper, pencils and watercolour, resulting in Art-Deco fashion portraits.[1] Inspired by high fashion and everyday life moments, her portrayed women have a decisive and elegant look and the texture is refined and magnetic; hand painted with charcoal, watercolor and acrylic.[2]

Recently Alina has collaborated on the illustration of a Cosmopolitan Latvia issue.[3]
