Allais Memorial Prize in Behavioral Sciences
The Allais Memorial Prize in Behavioral Sciences is an annual award. It is granted to personalities who made important contributions in the field of behavioral science.[1] The prize is named after French economist and physicist Maurice Allais, who won the Nobel Prize for Economy in 1988 and was one of the pioneers of the field of behavioral economics in europe.[1] It is awarded during the first day of the Prague Conference on Behavioral Sciences (PCBS) with permission of and in cooperation with Fondation Maurice Allais (France) and was first awared in 2017 to Bart J. Wilson. The Prague Conference on Behavioral Sciences is annually organized by Centrum behaviorálních experimentů (Center for Behavioral Experiments, short: CEBEX) in cooperation with the CEVRO Institute College in Prague, Czech Republic.[2]
The prize is not to be confused with the Maurice Allais Economics Prize which is granted to outstanding economists by Fondation Maurice Allais.
