Alparslan Kaya (born 7 April 1975 in Istanbul) is a Turkish businessman, Honorary Consul of Hungary, Knight Cross, Order of Merit of Hungary.
He graduated from Florida Metropolitan University in Florida. After completing his undergraduate education in United States of America (USA), he has been board member and the president in several family companies within Koçkaya Holding.[1]
He has established his own companies in America and Hungary and has foreign investments in various sectors. He continues to work as the Chairman of the Executive Board in Kale Global Holding since 2010.[2] Alparslan Kaya is married to Ebru Kaya and has two daughters named Merve and Mina.[3]
After Alparslan Kaya became the Honorary Consul of Hungary in 2013[4], he carried out the duty of the President of the Turkish-Hungarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce. [5] [6] He has been into various events such as writing a book about the Hungarian King Tökeli İmre, opening of the Tuğrul Bird statue and Sekel Door in Kocaeli and the show of the Hungarian National Dance Company in Gebze. [7] [8]
Alparslan Kaya has also been granted to the award of the Order of Merit, which is given to the people in Hungary who provide high benefit by serving in the fields of Education, Culture and Commerce.[9] Alparslan Kaya granted this medal by the President of Hungary János Áder and has passed into history as the forth Turk after the important names such as Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Abdullah Gül who also granted this medal. [10] Also, Alparslan Kaya has been honored with honorary PhD by the Cambridge College in March 2016 in the field of International Commerce.[11]
