Amit Kumar Bhowmik(Born November 8th 1946) is an Indian lawyer. He has represented a sweep of cases from the high-profile to the controversial.
Amit Kumar Bhowmiki obtained LL.B.degree from The University of Bombay and started practising law in his hometown, Bombay. He married Radha Bhowmik (Nee Ghose) He has one son and one daughter. His daughter too is a high profile criminal lawyer.

Amit Kumar Bhowmik was born in Bombay (now Mumbai) in the family of Fanindranath Bhowmik and Usharani Bhowmik. He did his initial schooling at Sherwood College, Nainital (Now in Uttarakhand) and completed his schooling from Campion in Bombay. He completed his BComm and after which he pursued Law and completed his LLM from the University of Mumbai.
Amit Kumar Bhowmik was married to Radha Bhowmik (nee Ghose) The both have a son and a daughter named Ramola Amit Bhowmik and Siddharth Amit Bhowmik

Amit Kumar Bhowmik started his career as a lawyer in Mumbai. He handled several high profile cases such as the bomb blasts of 1993 case in the TADA Courts in Mumbai.
