Anagetheism

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Anagetheism is a Restoreist Christian denomination that also has beliefs that are different from mainstream Christianity about Heaven, Hell, Satan, the resurrection, the Trinity and Jesus's death. They currently only operate in New South Wales, Australia. Their founder is Brother Harrison McGinn who worked towards finding the truth behind the Bible.

Church[edit]

The Anagetheist Church believe they are the only correct denomination of Christianity that the Bible refers too. They regard themselves as Christians, they do not call each other Anagetheist they refer to each other as "Brothers and Sisters", they call each other Christians and accept that they are called Anagetheist just so they can be identified as a denomination of Christianity. The Church each has elders in each congregation that are responsible for that congregation. They do not have any paid staff or hierarchy because they believe that this is unbiblical. They use only the Bible, they have no official church however meet in gatherings; God cannot be confined in a Church, and women must cover their heads during worship.

God[edit]

They believe that God is one, they reject the Trinity. They believe that the Trinity is not supported in the Bible and is spoken about as a bi-product of counterfeit Christianity in the Bible. They support the idea that God's name is Jehovah and they use Jehovah as God's name. They believe God is the source of good and evil.

Heaven[edit]

Anagetheist believe that God has chosen exactly 144,000 people to go to Heaven. Heaven is unachievable and when we die we all go to Hell. God will judge us all and then we shall return to Hell or live in paradise on Earth. Paradise is achievable for meek (kind) people and faithful true Christians.

Hell[edit]

They believe that Hell is the common Grave and we are all destined to go to Hell expect the 144,000 thousand people whom God has chosen. They believe that the soul is mortal like the body. They believe in Hell there is no pain or happiness, nothing.

Satan[edit]

They believe that Satan is not a spiritual rebel rather a personified version of our temptation. They believe God is the source of good and evil. They believe demons and demonic power are real and are all "Satans".

Jesus[edit]

Jesus is God's son, they believe Jesus is currently ruling as king in Heaven since 1914. They believe that Jesus died on a stake, not a cross and that using a cross is a very serious sin. They believe Jesus is not God. That Jesus is key to salvation and is the only way to the true God. They imitate Jesus understanding that he layed out the foundation of how Christians should live.

Politics[edit]

Christians should not take part in any military service even if it cost them great sacrifices. They will not sing the national anthem or salute the flag. They will listen and obey Governments as they believe that they are under divine permission. They will not perform any sacred service as they believe that it is unbiblical. This includes Christmas, Easter, Birthdays, or any holidays apart from the Passover.[1]
