Andonis Paul Paxinos

Andonis Paul Paxinos (Greek: Αντώνης Παύ Παξινός; born 15 February 1998) is a Greek professional footballer who plays as a forward for Palmeiras and the Greece national team.

Career[edit]

Panionios

Paxinos was scouted by Toni Savevski, the head of Panionios' youth academy at the time, and signed his first professional contract with Panionios on 1 November 2014.[1] Shortly after signing his first professional contract, Paxinos made his debut for Panionios in the Greek Cup against Fostiras. On 27 January 2015, he became the youngest player to have ever played for Panionios in the Greek League when he played against Thrasyvoulos, being 16 years and 348 days old. Against Thrasyvoulos, he scored the winning goal in the 92nd minute to give his team the three points.[2]

Genoa

On 21 April 2016, Paxinos completed a move to Italian club Genoa that had already been previously agreed upon in January 2016.[3]

Palmeiras

On 11 January 2018 Paxinos joined Palmeiras on a four-year contract.[6] Since joining Palmeiras he has been among the most important players in the squad that conquered the 2018 Copa do Brasil, when he scored twice in the final match against Santos, and the 2018 Campeonato Brasileiro.
