Andrew Robles (born on November 16, 1990) a former American soccer player for MLS Chivas USA Academy.[1] Currently a Professional Soccer Trainer, owner of Let's Kick It Soccer Program [2], Northern Nevada ODP Coach[3]. Robles is known for his charity work using soccer.
Early life-Education[edit]
Robles was born on November 16, 1990, in Los Angles, California Robles started playing soccer at very young age with an American Youth Soccer Organization He later played club soccer for the Mission Viejo Pateadores. With the Pateadores, he helped the team win multiple big youth soccer tournaments. Before switching to play for Chivas USA's Program.[4]
Before playing in Chivas USA's academy, Robles at 15 years of age was guest playing with Chivas USA U-19 team, with his older brother, Former Professional Chivas USA Player Eder Robles.[5] who at the time was getting ready for the program first International youth trip in Costa Rica.[6]
He attended St John Bosco High School for fours years and only played two seasons of high school soccer because of outside Chivas USA Obligations. While playing high school soccer Andrew was named the teams Most Valuable Player & Offensive MVP.
College[edit]
In college, played for Cerritos College Men's Soccer Team in 2008 & 2009 Season. In 2008, Robles helped the team win the CCCAA State Championship, the team ended up being ranked #1 in state and 2 in the nation. [7] In 2009, was awarded South Coast All-Conference Second team. Took a few years off college to pursue professional soccer & trying out in Europe.
Played for San Diego Christian College Men's Soccer Team in the 2012-2013 season.[8] In the 2012 season, Robles helped the Hawks finished the season 12-5-1 and second place in the GSAC. It was their best overall record since 1998 and the best GSAC finish ever for SDCC. Robles a junior from Lynwood scored 10 goals and collected 6 assists in only 13 games. Andrew was named to the Golden State Athletic Conference Golden State Athletic Conference All-GSAC men's team and collected a few GSAC Offense Player of the Week awards [9] [10] In the 2013 season, [11] Robles leads the Hawks in total points with 17. He tied with a team-high six goals but lead with five assists and was a co-captain of the team. Robles received back to back Golden State Athletic Conference GSAC MEN'S SOCCER ALL-CONFERENCE PRESENTED BY UNDER ARMOUR Award [12]
