Ankit Sharma (Nepali:अंकित शर्मा; born 25 March 1995) is a Nepali actor, writer/director and film producer who works in Nepali Cinema. With a background in theater and film, Sharma has been involved in projects related to the field for more than 9 years. He has worked as a theater artist as well as a film artist.He debuted in the 2019 Nepali movie Rato Tika Nidharma[1].

Education and Skills[edit]

Sharma earned a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) degree in Digital Film and Television from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Malaysia in 2016.He has studied Anthropology, Environmental Systems and Societies, and Theater in Ullens School, Lalitpur under IB Diploma Programme. He got his Secondary education from St. Paul's School, Darjeeling, India.

He possesses writing and directing skills along with editing in Final Cut Pro X, Adobe After Effects and Flash.

Acting career[edit]

Sharma worked as a theater artist in The Lion King (Musical) of 2010 by Jyoti Man Sherchan in Kathmandu in which played the role of Scar. His film debut[8][9] was in Ashok Sharma's directorial project Rato Tika Nidharma (2019) produced by A A Group of Companies. Sharma appeared alongside Samragyee RL Shah and Neeta Dhungana and he also collaborated on the script with the director in this film.
