Anu Kapoor Ranjan born in New Delhi (10th October 1960) an americans citizen, is a Media Professional and philanthropist. She is the Founder & President of The Indian Television Academy] (The ITA) since 2001. She is the Director of The ITA School of Performing Arts & CEO of GR8 Entertainment. She host Facebook Talk show Reel or Real With Anu Ranjan
Personal Life[edit]
Anu Kapoor Ranjan is married to Shashi Ranjan an FTII Graduate and Producer-Director of Films and TV. They have 2 daughters, Anushka Ranjan is a Bollywood actress and Akansha Ranjan.
Education[edit]
She did her schooling from Convent of Jesus & Mary, Shimla], and her College from St Bede’s College, Shimla & Loreto College, Kolkata. Post college she moved to Los Angeles for further studies and work. She moved to Mumbai post her marriage.
Career[edit]
She Founded Indian Television Academy in 2001.
She Co- Founded The ITA School of Performing Arts.
She established the GR8 Women Achievers’ Awards which has now celebrated 20 years in India and Middle East where women from different fields are honoured and felicitated.
She is also the Co-Founder & Partner of the online portal Ticket2Audition which is India’s first Audition booking platform.
Philanthropy[edit]
The NGO BETI Association–A Charity for Women was started by her on February 4th 2006 with support of UNFPA.
