Asset Education

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Asset Education is a multi academy trust based in Ipswich. Asset Education is formally known as Ipswich Primary Academies Trust (IPAT) which was formed in 2015.

In 2015 three schools formed the academy trust, St Helen's, The Oaks and Whitton Primary Schools in Ipswich. [1]

In February 2017 the trust confirmed that five schools (Edgar Sewter in Halesworth, Bungay, Ilketshall St Lawrence, Holton St Peter and Wenhaston) will be joining the trust in May 2017 and that the name of the multi academy would change to Asset Education which stands for 'A Suffolk Schools Education Trust', due to new academies being based outside Ipswich. [2]

In 2018 the CEO, Clare Flintoff announced that Stutton Primary near Ipswich would join the trust on 1st June 2018 and Shotley Primary near Ipswich would join the trust in September 2018 after the Department of Education chose Asset to sponsor the school.[3] [4]

The trusts values are Excellence, Empowerment and Engagement.
