Aviators (Band)
Aviators, created by Tyler Shaw in Vermont, USA in 2011.[1], is an indie alternative, orchestral, and EDM musician who makes fan music, original compositions, remixes, and video game scores [2]. He says he is “working to create new types of songs by fusing genres and styles” [3]. Shaw was born on September 7 1995 [1], and has been making music since the age of 3 and music on the computer since 2008, before releasing his first album, “Reflections of a Dream,” in 2011 [3]. Aviators uses YouTube, Spotify, and iTunes[4] to share his music, and also sells digital albums and CDs on Bandcamp [5]

Fandom and Lore[edit]
On Fandom, Aviators has its own fan wiki featuring a discography and explanations of songs’ lore.[7]. Some songs feature characters, such as the Watcher, Hunter, Traveler, Rogue, and Elder, each with backstories and art created by both Aviators and his fans[7]. Three albums (Dystopian Fiction, Building Better Worlds, and Stargazers) are about a fictional cyberpunk dystopia called Bleeding Sun, which is Miami, Florida in the future[4]. The story follows an uprising against the half-machine overlords of the city[5]
