Ayden Eckert and the Time Travellers is a Canadian rock band based in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada. They are inspired by the band Huey Lewis and the News.
History[edit]
In 2017, singer/lead guitarist, Ayden Eckert and drummer, Zacky Hyde created a band using Zacky's original band name, Black Heart and had transformed it into a band with several members and called it Ayden Eckert and Black Heart. After only one year, Zacky had decided to move away, causing the dismantlement of the band. Black Heart had consisted of Ayden Eckert as the singer and lead guitarist, Tristan Mitchell as the rhythm guitarist, Glenna Switzer on piano, Zacky Hyde on drums, and upright bassist, Ed Doyle. In late 2018, original singer, Ayden Eckert had formed a new band with only two remaining members from Black Heart and called it the Time Travellers. The band has since had new members join, such as, pianist, Tristan Byers, drummer, Scott Hunter, rhythm guitarist and electric bassist, Stacy Tinant, and a few background vocalists, Kaia Hessie, Keawna Hettinger, and Juliana Whalen, as well as the original pianist, Glenna Switzer has moved from her position as the pianist to her new spot as the one-woman percussion band and one of the fabulous background vocalists, also Bailey Padley has joined in 2019 as one of their tap dancers.
