BBB Indonesia
BBB Indonesia is a project launched to minimize language and culture problems during 2018 Asian Games Jakarta Palembang and after. Under its motto of "No Language Barriers in Indonesia", its main purpose is to implant an unique BBB interpretation system model to Indonesia. BBB interpretation system is basically conducted with a method of a three-way-call, where a person in need of interpretation calls BBB volunteers via a phone call or the BBB interpretation app. This interpretation would basically cost the caller none other than a phone bill. Languages the caller may ask for interpretation are: Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, English, Arabic, Thai, Chinese and Russian.
BBB Korea, a Korean non-governmental organization that launched the project, recruits volunteers with talents of any languages listed above and knowledge to explain Indonesian culture to foreigners. Those who are interested may apply through BBB Indonesia Facebook. The schedule of recruitment is from May 10th to June 20th 2018. The volunteers will be rewarded with certificates of the volunteer service, BBB souvenirs and a right to attend the opening ceremony of the BBB Indonesian project that may be held on July.
