Banda Franja de Gaza
Franja de Gaza is a Chilean Post-Rock band. The project is raised in 2009 by the hand of Claudio Riveros (guitar and voice) and Cristóbal vivar (drums) in cooperation with other musicians. Their first goal was the creation of a soundtrack for "Oleaje", a theater play. The band is officially formed in 2014 when Felipe Requena (bass) joined the project. The same year they released their first studio release, called "El Viaje". Since then the band has been generating movement and cultural instances in the Chilean underground scene. In 2017 the band releases "Despegue" their first LP, with Mauricio Vergara on lead guitar and César Castañeda on second guitar and keyboards.

Franja de Gaza is a Chilean galactic rock band. The band defined it’s musical genre by the mix of several music genres that make their sound unique. The members of the band gather their differents tastes of music to create the sound of “Despegue”, their first LP in 2017. “El Viaje” is the first studio work of FDG, the EP was released in 2014, having a good reception on the Chilean underground and specialized media in Argentina and Mexico.[1][2]. Between 2014 and 2016 the band got 2 new guitarrists, with 5 members the band started “Despegue” with the help of José Tomás Molina, musical producer. The band released “Despegue” on September 2017 in Sala Master, Santiago, Chile. The event was covered by specialized media and getting a very good reception[3][4]. “Despegue” entered in several list of Chilean best records of the year 2017, making the future of the band very promising[5][6] FDG is now in promotion of their LP and creating spaces for music in the local music escene of Santiago. The band also has raised a festival called “Aldea”, wich is a small music festival, with 3 presentations from differents local artists, this festival has 5 edition since 2015.
