Bert Curtiss

Bert Curtiss is a Canadian car collector, who lost more than 40 classic cars and 40 tractors, when a fire in March 2017 destroyed a 27,000 square foot barn close to Olds, Alberta, Canada. The collection represented 45 years of work, was worth over $3 million, and was uninsured.[1][2]

Early life[edit]

Bert Curtiss is the son of Ward Curtiss (d. 1990) and Ellen Curtiss (d. 2005).[3]

Car collector[edit]

In March 2017, a fire destroyed Curtiss's collection and he said that he would probably not resume car collecting.[2]

Personal life[edit]

Bert Curtiss lives in Olds, Alberta, with his wife Joyce.[3]
