Beru Whitesun Lars (born Beru Whitesun) is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise, created by George Lucas. She was the aunt of Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker. Lars married the stepbrother of former Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, Owen Lars. Beru raised Luke Skywalker in her home planet, Tatooine. She died in a Stormtrooper attack in her Tatooine.[1]
