The headquarters is located in Thiruvananthapuram.BJP is the third largest Political party in Kerala in terms of members strength and vote share. In National Politics - BJP Kerala fraction holds one Union Minister position and 3 Rajyasabha MPs and also there are many Kerala BJP leaders holding top posts in BJP national leadership, Central government organizations, boards, corporations and ministerial committees. In Kerala state level Politics - the Kerala Governor is from BJP and currently, BJP has an MLA in Kerala assembly.BJP is the third opposition party in Kerala. Bjp is second in 11 assembly seats in Kerala and got over 30000 votes in 40-70 seats in Kerala. In local level Politics BJP is the second largest party in Kerala capital Corporation Thiruvananthapuram ( latest in 2020 local body election), Bjp ruling 2 municipalities and 24 panchayats in Kerala. Bjp has 1600 seats in Kerala local bodies and is second in 2800+ seats.Bjp is the main opposition in 14 municipalities in Kerala.[citation needed]
