Bibin Boban (born 29 January 1999) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Chennaiyin FC reserves. He is the current captain for Chennaiyin FC reserves.
Boban is an academy graduate from The AIFF Elite Academy. Being discovered as upcoming talent of the Indian football and representing India at different age categories in various international matches, Boban was one of the six academy graduates of AIFF Elite Academy to be signed by Chennaiyin FC on 30th August 2017.
Chennaiyin FC announced the formation of their reserves team to participate in I-League Second Division. For the I-League Second Division Boban was selected in the squad of for 8 matches, out of which he featured in for 4 matches. He came in as a substitute for 2 matches and was given the opportunity in the starting 11 for 2 matches He was also a part of the squad in the round of 16 match against Aizawl F.C. in the Hero Super Cup
The midfielder started the I-League 2nd division season on a high as he made it to the starting 11 and featured for full 90 minutes against Kerala Blasters reserves and in addition to that he was the captain for the match against South United F.C.. But Boban's rising season came to an early end as he was ruled out for the rest of the season.
Starting as the captain of Chennaiyin FC reserves in the I-League Second Division. In only five games Boban has featured in all the fixtures for full 90 minutes except for against Hyderabad FC reserves where he was substituted off the field in the 19th minute of the match.
