Ademola Taoreed Ojugbele (born 24 November 1997), better known by his stage name Big Drip is a Nigerian singer, performing artiste. He began his musical career as a lyricist while schooling in the UK High School. Big Drip is popularly known across Lagos State for his song "London Gyal" and recently performed it at the AFRIMA 2019 Award Nite Music Festival at Agege Local Government Council, Lagos State. He is currently signed to Drip Nation Entertainment.

In 2019, he released his second single Omalicha and Birthday Freestyle.[1]

Early life[edit]

Big Drip was born into a polygamous family[2] in Lagos State, Nigeria. His family is of the Moslem faith, and originally from Otta Local Government Council, Ogun State, Nigeria. He is one of the sons of Bashorun Lamina Ojugbele, an Otta Prince and real estate magnate in Nigeria,[3] and the last child of Chief (Mrs.) Basirat Ojugbele, a female politician and APC woman leader in Ojokoro land in Lagos State.[4] An alumnus of Cherry Orchard Primary School, Charlton[5] and Brittons Academy, Rainham, and is currently studying Business Administration at Caleb University, Ondo State.[6] In 2019, Big Drip was invited to perform at the AFRIMA Award Nite Music Festival sponsored by the Agege Local Government Council with a host of other performing artistes.[7]

His father was a music promoter and into show business in the 1960s to 1970s, and promoted legendary names in Yourba's Fuji Music genre,like Ebenezer Obey[8] it left to be seen if that had influenced Big Drip to pursue music. Big Drip began his music career at 2015 while schooling at Brittons Academy in UK. In the early 2019, he announced his first single release London Gyal and availed it to various music streaming platforms. He released two other singles in 2019.
