Bilmola is a Thai company that designs and manufactures motorcycle helmets.

History

Bilmola is a motorcycle helmet brand that produces safety helmets for both motorists and professional racers.[1] It was founded in Thailand in 2010 and has since expanded to the Philippines [2], Nepal [3], and United States, among other countries.

Bilmola USA

The company’s product development division, Bilmola USA, opened in California in 2020. Bilmola USA's first model, the RC-1 (Racing Concept 1) was released in 2022 and is a full-face helmet made with forged composite, also known as forged carbon. The helmet is ECE R22.05 and DOT FMVSS 218 certified.[4]

Bilmola USA sponsors its RC-1 racing helmets for 2022 MotoAmerica Superbike Championship racer Travis Wyman [5] and British Grand Prix motorcycle racer Fraser Rogers[6], each with their own limited edition custom designs.

Helmets

Bilmola makes full face, flip up, off road, and modular helmets using materials such as shock resistant thermoplastics, polycarbonates, and forged composite. [7]. Bilmola helmets are equipped with fog resistant insert lenses through visor and pin manufacturer Pinlock [8]

Collaborations

In 2022, Bilmola released three limited edition Iron Maiden helmets to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Iron Maiden album Number of the Beast, named The Number of the Beast, Fear of the Dark, and The Trooper.[9]

In 2021, Bilmola released the Dragon Ball Z Limited edition line with Toei Animation using the Bilmola Rapid S model, inspired by popular Dragon Ball Z characters such as Goku, Vegeta, Cell, Majin Buu, Frieza, and Piccolo.[10][11] The limited edition helmets were sold and distributed in Asian countries such as Thailand and Malaysia. [12][13]

In 2020, Bilmola partnered up with Mobile Suit Gundam to create three collaboration helmets using Bilmola's Nex model.[14][15] The three designs were named RX-78-2 GUNDAM, MS-09 DOM and MS-06S CHAR’S ZAKU.[16]
