Biscuit Belly
Biscuit Belly: "Slang term referring to a protruding stomach resulting from
short-term rapid weight gain. Typically the result of Biscuit consumption from
an all you can eat home style restaurant, such as the
Dan'l Boone Inn in Boone, NC. Although commonly associated with flour biscuits, a biscuit belly can
develop from other southern foods such as BBQ ribs, butter beans and any food
item moving slow enough to be breaded and fried (Okra, Pickles, Chicken, Green Tomatoes,
Twinkies, etc.)"
